What's the worst movie you've seen recently?

vanilla sky..... one of the greatest movies ever made...

you are watching the movie in a flash back...
while david aames is in prison talking to a
counselor. he is in prison for killing his
girlfriend 'sofia'...

later you find out that the car crash was real..
he was deformed... and later decided to commit
suicide and be put under 'deep freeze'. while
under the cryonic suspension... he has chosen the
'lucid dream' option... in which every moment
after his suicide is nothing more than computer
simulation... a dream while he is frozen.

the twist comes when you realize that his
'dream' starts to gank up due to his subconscious.
instead of seeing 'sofia' (penelope cruz)...
he sees 'julie' (cameron diaz) because his
subconscious won't escape the tragedy of his
life brought on by that fucking wanker julie.

he ends up killing 'sofia' believing its 'julie'...
gets arrested and is now in prison awaiting his
trial.

this is where you realize that everything has
been apart of his 'lucid dream'... the love
affair with 'sofia', the killing, prison, everything
was the dream....

the REAL david aames is locked away in a cryonics
chamber from the L.E. company.... his body frozen
well below freezing and awaiting the year in
which science can attain the knowledge to fix
his deformed face.

after he has discovered that everything (in the
movie -- other than the flash back) is a dream...
he is faced with the choice of either staying
in the lucid dream/cryonics... or being revived
to take his chances in the world to-date.

if i remember correctly, david aames has been
frozen for.... 100 years? i don't remember...
but he chooses to take his chances and leave
the fucked world of the lucid dream.

yeah, but didnt he take his mask off at the end and his face really wasnt messed up that bad except for a scar???
See, that's what I had the problem with. I couldn't ever figure out what was real and what was a dream in the movie. I DO know one thing though, damn Cameron Diaz is a pain in the ass in that movie. And she acts so damn stupid in it too!

the parts where david aames had a regular face
were only in his lucid dream...

there was a segment in the movie that showed him
receiving some 'amazing' surgical treatment and
he had to go that day to get his 'special mask'
removed... this was done by 'sofia' and his face
was 'perfect'.

this was the tie-over... the part where the L.E.
company justified (to his brain) that he was no
longer deformed... and could continue in his
dream exactly as he wanted to look... normal.

Mum hired a movie a few years ago that we all sat and watched on New Years Eve (yeah, I'm serious [img]confused.gif[/img] ) and it was called Sorry, Wrong Number. Oh man, did THAT movie suck!!!
